Develop Non-profit Organizational Names

Personalized for Your Cause or Mission

Naming or re-naming a non-profit is an important step in establishing its identity and mission. A well-chosen name can lend credibility, expand their partners, and more easily secure funding.

PS212 Naming & Branding has partnered with non-profits with different missions and varying levels of funding on an array of naming and branding assignments. Those partnerships include the ACLU, The Africa-America Institute, Ken Griffin's Catalyst, The Rockefeller Foundation, and the Tiger Woods Foundation. These assignments, in part, included the exploration of alternative name candidates, naming research, domain name availability, preliminary trademark screening, Cultural Sensitivity Analysis, and linguistics evaluations.

Each assignment, like each client, is unique. We take that into consideration when building the approach and exploring the creative. In the case of non-profits, we take the organization's mission, their culture, those who benefit, and those who contribute into consideration. A mindfulness to those and other factors have helped establish us as experts in bringing stakeholders into the process and to a final naming decision.
