Product Naming

Sonos consistently upgrades and expands their portfolio of products. They asked us to consider the best naming strategy for their hugely successful Sonos Sub line and name the latest product extension to create a family of subwoofers.       

We had to be mindful of what worked so well for the one product in the Sub family while still covering a wide range of approaches to naming and alternative names for the product extension. 

The name – Sonos Sub Mini – builds off the simplicity, familiarity, and equity of Sonos Sub
