Company Naming

When Siemens and Accenture formed a joint venture to help energy providers better integrate renewable energy sources, improve energy efficiency, and enhance the reliability and performance of their electricity grids, they asked us to name it. Work included name development, linguistic evaluations, and key audience research.

We created the company name Omnetric from ‘omni’ and ‘metric’ to support the breadth of all this company offers and their core competency – measuring electric generation, output, and usage.
