Service Naming & Supporting Language

We created the service name, Waymo One, for the world’s first autonomous ride-sharing app.

Work included thinking through the naming strategy. The service was the first consumer experience for Waymo and we believed it was important to establish the Waymo brand name as the hero of the service name. We also believed the service name should complement not distract from the Waymo name, hence Waymo One.

Waymo also asked us to help make a new experience more familiar by writing supporting language for the driverless cabin.
